The Bay will broadcast A Day To Listen starting at 6am
Communities across Muskoka will mark the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation tomorrow.
In Huntsville, the 5th annual Orange Shirt Day march begins at 10:45 in River Mill Park, with a closing ceremony at 11:45.
In Bracebridge, a Survivors’ Flag will be raised at 10 a.m. at the municipal office, with remarks from Mayor Rick Maloney and Lynda Nicholson.
Both events honour survivors of residential schools, their families, and the children who never returned home. Residents are encouraged to wear orange to show their support.
The Bay will be broadcasting a special presentation – A Day To Listen, from 6am to 6pm.
