Street sweeping has begun along with dealing with frost heaves, and muddy gravel roads and more
Spring road maintenance is getting underway in Huntsville as crews begin seasonal cleanup work across the municipality.
The town says Public Works teams are now out filling potholes, sweeping streets, and addressing common spring road issues like soft shoulders, frost heaves, and muddy gravel roads following a long winter and spring flooding.
Officials say more than 385 kilometres of roads are maintained across the town, and extra crews and equipment have been brought in to help speed up repairs.
The town is asking drivers to be patient, reduce speed in work zones, and give maintenance crews space as they work to improve road conditions over the coming weeks.
