The Huntsville Hawks U9-1 won the championship earlier this month
Huntsville will be celebrating a championship on Monday, as the Huntsville Hawks Minor Lacrosse team take over downtown.
The championship parade gets underway at 5:15 Monday afternoon at the Canada Summit Centre, with OPP vehicles leading the procession along Main Street and Brunel Road.
The parade is expected to return to the Summit Centre around 5:45.
Drivers should expect rolling road closures and traffic disruptions along Main Street East and Brunel Road.
The celebration continues with the Hawks Awards Banquet from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Summit Centre.
