The initiative is a pilot project and may be rolled out to other areas of town
Drivers and pedestrians in Huntsville will notice new traffic calming signs along Deerfoot Trail.
The signs are part of a town-led pilot project aimed at reducing vehicle speeds and improving pedestrian safety in one of Huntsville’s busier residential corridors.
Town staff will be monitoring traffic patterns and driver behaviour in the area over the coming weeks to evaluate the effectiveness of the changes and help determine whether similar measures could be rolled out elsewhere in the community.
