The man was arrested in Blind River
A Huntsville man re-arrested after breaching release conditions.
Aloundeth Khamvong, 39, of Huntsville, was arrested on December 12th after allegedly cutting off his ankle monitor and fleeing in the Bracebridge area, violating a prior release order.
Khamvong, who faced multiple charges dating back to November 2024—including possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a prohibited firearm, and possession of property obtained by crime—was also charged this week with two counts of failing to comply with a release order, failure to attend court, and mischief under $5,000.
He is scheduled to appear in Ontario Court of Justice Bail Court in Blind River on December 13th.
