The annual event will celebrate local athletes in September
The Huntsville Sports Hall of Fame will celebrate its 2026 Induction Night this September at The Algonquin Theatre.
This year’s class features athletes Mary Simonett for tennis, Nathan Perry for para-skiing, Baden Johns for track and field, and Gus Liadis for lacrosse.
Builders Jocelyn Knox and Larry French are being honoured for their contributions to lacrosse, while coaches Cindy Blake for Special Olympics cross-country skiing and Mike Graham for OMHA Bantam hockey round out the individual inductees.
The 1999 HHS Hoyas Senior Girls AA Basketball Team will also be recognized.
The evening will include presentation of the Jan Glenn, Mike Greaves, and Peter Jacob awards. Biographies and photos of all inductees will be available at www.hshf.ca.
