That brings the total to six in the last year
Huntsville’s doctor recruitment program continues to gain ground, with four more physicians signing on since last fall. The town says that brings the total to six new family doctors recruited since the incentive program launched in June 2024.
Only four spots remain, and council has asked staff to explore both short- and long-term options for future healthcare recruitment.
The town is reminding residents not to call clinics directly about joining a waitlist. Instead, go to algonquinfht.ca to register if you’re without a primary care provider.
