A public open house is being held in Bala on August 1st
Hydro One is continuing consultations on a proposed transmission line that would improve electricity capacity between northern and southern Ontario.
The utility will host a public open house in Bala on August 1 as part of a second round of discussions on the proposed Sudbury-Barrie Transmission Line.
The approximately 300-kilometre, 500-kilovolt project would connect the Greater Sudbury area to the Barrie region. Hydro One says public feedback and environmental studies will help refine possible routes before options are presented later this year.
