The driver had open liquor in the vehicle
A traffic stop in Perry Township has led to impaired driving charges.
Almaguin Highlands OPP pulled over a vehicle on Highway 518 East around 7:30 Saturday night after it was seen swerving.
Police say the driver, 39-year-old Ashley Sheridan of Kearney, was arrested and charged with impaired driving, driving under suspension, and having open liquor in the vehicle.
Sheridan is due in court in Sundridge on June 12.
