The installation is a result of the closure of the Baysville Community Centre
A temporary public water tap has been installed in Baysville following the closure of the existing fill station at the Lake of Bays Community Centre.
The new tap is located at the Baysville Fire Station on University Street, across from the community centre, and is positioned to the left of the garage doors.
Town officials say the temporary measure is in place to ensure continued public access to water while the main facility remains unavailable.
