Maw promises to improve communication with residents
Huntsville resident, Leland Maw is running for both Town and District Council, saying residents need a stronger voice in regional decision-making.
Maw, a fourth-generation Muskoka resident, says the growth of the District has created a gap between taxpayers and government, particularly as services such as water, sewer and waste management have shifted to the regional level.
If elected, Maw says he will focus on improving communication with residents, balancing District-wide efficiency with local needs and ensuring infrastructure decisions reflect the priorities of individual communities.
