Cheryl Kelley, Director of Planning will be succeeded by Matt Holmes
After 23 years of service, Bracebridge’s Director of Planning and Development, Cheryl Kelley, is preparing to retire in April 2026.
The Town has announced that Matt Holmes, a longtime resident with more than 25 years of municipal planning experience, will take over the role starting in March. Holmes has spent the past 11 years as Manager of Planning Services, helping guide major projects like the Town’s Official Plan review and zoning updates.
His appointment ensures a smooth transition as Kelley steps down, marking the end of a long and dedicated career shaping Bracebridge’s growth.
