The organization has used SeamlessMD's platform to improve communication with patients
Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare has been recognized with a Patient Advocacy Award from SeamlessMD for its work in improving patient-centred surgical care.
The award was presented at a conference in Toronto, where MAHC staff accepted the honour on behalf of the organization.
Officials say the hospital system has used the SeamlessMD digital platform for the past three years to support patients before and after surgery with information, reminders and recovery guidance.
MAHC says the program has helped improve communication and patient engagement throughout the surgical experience.
