OPP say the man impersonated a police officer at a local resort
Provincial Police in Huntsville have laid multiple charges following a sexual assault investigation involving children.
Police say the incidents happened at a local resort, where the suspect allegedly posed as an officer and assaulted two young victims. Investigators later determined the accused had travelled to the area from another municipality.
Sixty-four-year-old Stephen Robert Lynn of North Dundas Township is facing several charges, including sexual assault, sexual interference, and impersonating a peace officer. He remains in custody and is due in court in Bracebridge April 8th.
Police believe there may be additional victims and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
