Visitors must wear a mask when visiting the hospital
Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare is bringing back mandatory masking as respiratory illnesses rise across the region. Starting November 24, everyone entering MAHC hospitals must wear a surgical mask.
The move follows a COVID outbreak on the North Wing at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital, where general visitors are barred and only one essential caregiver is allowed. Testing and enhanced cleaning continue as officials work to contain the spread.
