Increases in service are coming Gravenhurst, Muskoka Lakes and Lake of Bays
The District of Muskoka is expanding emergency coverage in east Muskoka with a new ambulance set to be based in the Township of Lake of Bays this July.
Officials say the unit will run 12 hours a day to boost response capacity during peak demand periods.
The district says the addition is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen paramedic services across the region, alongside expanded overnight staffing in Gravenhurst and a new Muskoka Lakes station improving west-end coverage.
