Jeff Lehman says he won’t seek the Ontario Liberal leadership, choosing instead to focus on his family and his role as District Chair
Muskoka District Chair Jeff Lehman says he won’t be entering the Ontario Liberal leadership race.
Lehman, who’s led in municipal politics for nearly two decades, says his focus needs to remain on his family and his current role as Chair of the District of Muskoka. He thanked supporters who encouraged him to run but added he made a promise to Muskoka residents when he took on the chair’s job.
The Liberals are preparing for a contest to replace Bonnie Crombie, who announced she’ll step down once a successor is chosen.
