The attraction features a pioneer village and steam train
Huntsville’s Muskoka Heritage Place will officially open for the 2026 season on Saturday.
The site features the Pioneer Village, where visitors can explore historic buildings and take part in interactive demonstrations of early settler life, along with new programming and exhibits added for this year.
A key attraction is the Portage Flyer Train, which offers scenic rides along the Muskoka River and highlights the region’s railway history.
The attraction will be open daily until October 10, with train operations running several days a week depending on the season.
