The municipality says its a great way to learn about safety
The Muskoka Lakes Fire Department is inviting families to a fun and educational Family Safety Day on Saturday, April 26th. Running from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the free event takes place in partnership with the OPP, CP Rail, the Ministry of Natural Resources, and other community groups.
Families can enjoy demonstrations, prizes, kids’ activities, a free BBQ lunch—and meet Sparky the Fire Dog and Smokey Bear.
The municipality says it’s a great chance to learn about safety while connecting with first responders in a fun, family-friendly setting.
