More than $138,000 was raised
The Muskoka Padel community has raised a record amount for South Muskoka Memorial Hospital.
A Labour Day weekend tournament brought together more than 200 members of the growing Padel community, raising $138,250 for local health care.
That’s more than triple the group’s previous fundraising record of $38,841 set last year.
The fundraiser was organized by local cottager Andrew Sheiner, who says the community wanted to show its appreciation for the staff at the Bracebridge hospital.
