A new inclusive outdoor gathering and learning area is being unveiled at HHS thanks to a partnership between Rotary People of Action Huntsville and the school community
A new accessible outdoor learning and gathering space is coming to Huntsville High School thanks to a community partnership focused on inclusion and accessibility.
Rotary People of Action Huntsville has installed three accessible picnic tables at the school through a $4,500 Rotary District Grant. The space is designed to support students during the school day and remain available for community use outside of school hours, including visitors to the nearby Summit Centre.
The project, inspired by the late Rotarian Sharon Wallace, will be officially unveiled June 11 as community members gather to celebrate its completion.
