The new equipment is expected to cost $320,000
There's a new playground coming to River Mill Park in Huntsville. The Town announced that the popular downtown playground, which has been in place since 2008, will be replaced this fall.
Work on the new playground is set to begin on September 23rd, with the old equipment being removed to make way for the new one. The new playground will feature inclusive equipment, including a wheelchair-accessible glider and a sensory-friendly roller slide.
The new playground, approved as part of the 2025 budget, comes with a price tag of $320,000.
