There was a large police presence in the Lake Waseosa area
Police are investigating a vehicle fire at a home on East Waseosa Lake Road in Huntsville that left one person seriously injured.
Huntsville OPP, firefighters and paramedics responded around 5am Thursday morning. The injured person was airlifted to hospital.
Police say preliminary evidence suggests the incident was isolated and there is no ongoing risk to the public.
The Muskoka OPP Crime Unit continues to investigate with help from several specialized OPP units and the Ontario Fire Marshal.
