The shooters were charged with disobeying the Public Lands Act
Bracebridge OPP have charged 5 men following patrols in an area of Georgian Bay Township where residents have raised concerns about recreational shooting.
The men, aged 22 to 27 and from the GTA, were charged September 26 on Tower Road with disobeying a notice under Ontario’s Public Lands Act.
Police say they’ll continue patrols in the area and are reminding people to understand the rules before using public lands.
