Bracebridge OPP are investigating significant damage to the Rainbow Bridge Pet Memorial at the Gravenhurst Wharf.
Police say five people walking along the boardwalk around 12:10 Wednesday morning tore down several signs and placards and threw them into the water.
The group is described as three males and two females, believed to be young adults or teens.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Bracebridge OPP or Crime Stoppers.
