Police warn you could be charged with a criminal offence
The OPP is reminding residents that interfering with election signs could be a criminal offence.
Police say they have received reports of signs being stolen, damaged, removed or moved without permission during the current election period.
Election signs are the property of candidates and their campaigns, and tampering with them could result in criminal or provincial charges.
Anyone who witnesses suspicious activity is asked to contact police and, if it is safe, record details such as vehicle information or video.
