Hydro One says most customers will be back on grid before 10pm.
Hydro One crews are responding following today’s severe weather. According to the utility's official storm center map, there are currently thirty active outages remaining across the region, affecting 1325 customers in total.
While power has been restored to the vast majority of the grid, local crews remain on-site clearing debris and repairing lines. Most residents will see their power restored by the end of the day.
Residents are reminded to stay at least ten meters back from any fallen wires.
