Susan Mazan joins Kelley as being elected by acclamation for District and Township Councillor of Ward B.
The results are in for Muskoka Lakes: Peter Kelley is mayor by acclamation.
The unofficial results posted to the township’s website show the following as having been elected for council; Glenn Zavitz, Rick Flannigan, and Leslie Orchard for Ward A; Susan Mazan (by acclamation), Allen Edwards, and Gordon Roberts for Ward B; Guy Burry, Rob Bosomworth, and Pam Jeffery for Ward C.
A municipal candidate is “acclaimed” when there is no valid opponent candidate, thus winning by default.
