Police in Huntsville have laid impaired driving charges following a RIDE check on Christmas Eve.
Ontario Provincial Police say officers were conducting a Festive RIDE checkpoint around 9:45 that morning when they stopped a vehicle and suspected the driver was impaired by alcohol.
A 31 year old Huntsville man was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle while impaired and having a blood alcohol level over the legal limit.
He was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Ontario Court in Bracebridge in January.
