A 20-year-old from Alliston faces a charge of uttering threats
OPP say a man from Simcoe County is facing a charge after an alleged threat directed at Ontario’s premier.
The Ontario Provincial Police Protective Services Section launched an investigation February 13th after a threat was reported against Premier Doug Ford.
Police say 20-year-old Ramy Jamil Hanna of Alliston has been charged with one count of uttering threats to cause harm under the Criminal Code.
He was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Ontario Court in Bradford on April 9th. Police are asking anyone with information about the case to contact the OPP or Crime Stoppers.
