Two local men have been charged with impaired after being pulled over
Police say two more impaired driving arrests have been made following separate traffic stops in Muskoka.
The Ontario Provincial Police say a Huntsville officer was travelling on Muskoka Road 169 in Muskoka Lakes Township on May 28 when they stopped a vehicle after noticing concerning driving behaviour. A 60-year-old Port Carling man has been charged with impaired driving and over 80. He is scheduled to appear in court at the end of June.
In a second incident on May 30, Bracebridge OPP say officers conducting a patrol stopped a vehicle on Cedar Lane in Bracebridge for a Highway Traffic Act investigation. A 39-year-old Bracebridge man has also been charged with impaired operation and over 80, with a court date set for early July.
