Bracebridge OPP say they’ve intercepted a suspected attempt to use a drone to bring contraband into a correctional facility in Gravenhurst.
Officers investigating a suspicious vehicle on Barnes Road early Sunday morning found a drone and other items consistent with plans to bring illegal goods into the institution.
Twenty-seven-year-old Sabrina Landry of Laval, Quebec, faces several charges, including drug trafficking and possessing contraband. She was released following a bail hearing and is due back in court November 17th.
