Police say the incident happened at school
Huntsville OPP say a local student is facing a charge after threats were reported at the area high school.
Police say they were alerted February 19th after comments about causing harm were shared among students. Officers worked with the Trillium Lakelands District School Board to assess the situation. A 14-year-old has been charged with uttering threats and will appear in Bracebridge court at a later date.
Police stress the incident was isolated and say there’s no ongoing risk to public safety.
