The driver faces multiple charges including assault with a weapon
A Gravenhurst man is facing charges after a cyclist was hit by a vehicle on Pinedale Road.
Police say the incident happened around 1 p.m. on July 25. Police say a vehicle struck the back tire of a bike, ejecting the rider, who suffered minor injuries.
Bracebridge OPP have charged 45-year-old Christopher Lamorie with assault with a weapon, dangerous driving, and failing to remain at the scene.
He’s due in court August 26 in Bracebridge.
