OPP say they are increasing traffic enforcement around schools as students return to the classroom.
Officers will be watching for speeding, distracted driving, drivers failing to yield to pedestrians and motorists passing school buses with their red lights and stop arms activated.
Police say drivers should slow down in school and community safety zones and watch for children, crossing guards and cyclists.
There will be a greater police presence during the morning and afternoon school commute throughout September.
