The driver fled before police arrived. A pedestrian received serious injuries
OPP are asking for the public’s help after a serious hit-and-run collision in Magnetawan.
The Almaguin Highlands OPP says a pedestrian was struck on Highway 510 near Arrow Drive sometime between 8 and 8:20 Thursday evening. The vehicle involved had left the scene before officers arrived.
Investigators believe the vehicle is a black SUV that was last seen travelling southbound on Highway 510. The pedestrian suffered serious injuries.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage from the area is asked to contact the OPP as the investigation continues.
