Rides run from 5-8pm, with sensory-friendly rides at 4.30pm
The Town of Huntsville says that the Portage Flyer Christmas Train returns to Muskoka Heritage Place on December 20th, offering an evening of festive nostalgia from 5 to 8 p.m. Families can enjoy hot chocolate, cookies and caroling before boarding the decorated historic train for a ride along the Muskoka River to meet Santa at the Purser’s Cabin.
A sensory-friendly train run, offered in partnership with Autism Ontario, departs at 4:30 p.m. and requires pre-registration due to limited space.
Tickets for the main event are five dollars at the station on a first-come basis, with babies in arms admitted free.
