Communities across Muskoka are recognizing Pride today with a series of flag raising ceremonies celebrating inclusion, diversity, and the 2SLGBTQ+ community.
today’s events are taking place in municipalities and communities throughout the region, with Pride flags being raised to show support and highlight the importance of creating welcoming spaces for everyone.
Ceremonies begin at 9 o’clock this morning in Huntsville and Port Severn, followed by events in Wahta and Dwight at 10, Port Carling at 11:30, and the District of Muskoka at 12:30.
The afternoon schedule includes flag raisings in Bracebridge at 2 o’clock and Gravenhurst at 3.
The events are part of a week of Muskoka Pride celebrations, bringing residents together to recognize the contributions and experiences of the Pride community across the region.
