After serving a term as a town councilor, Helena Renwick has thrown her hat into the District Council ring
Huntsville Town Councillor Helena Renwick has officially announced she is running for a seat on Muskoka District Council.
Renwick has lived in Huntsville for thirty years, raising three children in the community with her husband, Cameron. For the past four years, she has served on Huntsville Town Council, where she co-chaired both Corporate Services and Community Services, focusing on responsible budgeting and community programming.
Beyond council chambers, Renwick has deep roots in the community. She has served on the local BIA, the Chamber of Commerce, the Huntsville Art Society, and the Huntsville Hospital Foundation Board.
Renwick says she is seeking election because the District is facing massive decisions regarding housing, infrastructure, and growth, and she wants to ensure Huntsville has an experienced, thoughtful voice at the table.
