The feedback was received at 27 budget consultations
More than twelve hundred Muskoka residents have weighed in on the District’s priorities for next year’s budget.
The District says 27 budget consultations drew 1,225 participants between June and August. Roads and infrastructure, health services and paramedics, housing, long-term care and community health were among the top priorities identified.
Affordability was also a major concern, with residents calling for careful spending and clearer information about how tax dollars are used.
The feedback will be considered alongside Council direction and other factors as the District develops its 2027 budget.
