The plan will guide waste management for the next 30 years
The District of Muskoka is asking residents to weigh in on its Solid Waste Master Plan, a 30-year strategy aimed at keeping more than 80 percent of waste out of landfills by 2050.
Public feedback can be shared in person at the Huntsville Harvest Fest on Saturday, September 13, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., or at the Gravenhurst Opera House on Tuesday, September 16, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
A virtual Lunch and Learn is scheduled for Wednesday, September 24, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Registration is required.
Residents can also complete an online survey, open now, at www.engagemuskoka.ca/solid-waste-master-plan/surveys/swmp-phase-2-options-survey.
The District is encouraging all residents to participate and help shape the future of Muskoka’s waste management.
