The driver is being held in custody
A routine traffic stop on Highway 400 has led to a long list of charges against a Sudbury man.
Bracebridge OPP say an officer stopped a vehicle Monday afternoon in Georgian Bay Township for a Highway Traffic Act offence. During the investigation, police arrested the driver and found a firearm inside the vehicle.
A 42-year-old Sudbury man is facing multiple charges, including prohibited driving, several firearms offences and possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
He remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in Bracebridge court on July 24.
