Part of the trail was closed for repairs after spring flooding
A popular section of the Trans Canada Trail in Bracebridge has reopened after repairs from this spring's flooding. The restored stretch runs from Kelvin Grove Park to the base of Bracebridge Falls.
The Town says the work was supported by a $20,000 Trail Catalyst Fund grant, helping repair damage caused by high water, erosion, debris, and saturated ground.
The section of trail beneath the Silver Bridge remains closed while bridge rehabilitation work continues, and visitors are asked to obey all posted closures.
