Graydon Smith says a bill he helped introduce will get more homes built faster
Parry Sound–Muskoka MPP Graydon Smith says Ontario’s new “Fighting Delays, Building Faster Act” is focused on getting homes built sooner, not later.
Smith says since he and Minister Rob Flack joined the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing, their priority has been to build homes faster. He adds the new legislation will ease upfront costs for builders, streamline approvals for minor variances, and help rural communities like Parry Sound–Muskoka move ahead with communal water systems.
Smith says the goal is to make it easier to get good projects moving, keep workers on the job, and give people across Ontario more housing options.
