Surgical services are back to normal at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge.
Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare says repairs to the hospital's operating room chiller system have been completed, allowing both elective and emergency surgeries to resume.
During the temporary shutdown, procedures were moved to Huntsville District Memorial Hospital to avoid delays in patient care.
Hospital officials are thanking patients, staff and regional healthcare partners for their cooperation while the repairs were completed.
