Mitchell Gray was confirmed as one of the deceased inside the burned structure
Ontario Provincial Police have confirmed that 29-year-old Mitchell Gray of Bracebridge, the individual wanted in a recent death and arson investigation in Bracebridge has been confirmed deceased.
On August 1st, Bracebridge OPP responded to reports of gunfire and a house fire on Beatrice Town Line Road. Officers found a deceased 60-year-old male with a gunshot wound and a residence engulfed in flames. After a shelter-in-place order was issued and lifted, a further search revealed two more deceased individuals inside the home.
A 59-year-old female also died of a gunshot wound, and the 29-year-old male suspect died from smoke inhalation.
Police are continuing their investigation and are asking anyone with information to contact Bracebridge OPP or Crime Stoppers.
