Three people are facing charges after a reported theft at a retail store in Gravenhurst.
Bracebridge OPP say officers responded Wednesday afternoon after an off-duty police officer spotted the alleged theft. Police tracked a white cube van south on Highway 11, where Orillia OPP stopped the vehicle in Orillia.
Charged are 43-year-old David Ronto of Scarborough, 34-year-old Karoly Vadasz of North York, and a 16-year-old from North York. All three are charged with theft under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime.
The two adults are scheduled to appear in Bracebridge court June 23, while the youth will appear in youth court July 2.
