TLDSB says the data will help them understand the needs of students
The Trillium Lakelands District School Board is conducting its third Student Census this week, aiming to better understand and support the diverse needs of students across the region.
Board officials say results from the 2024 census revealed achievement gaps among some student groups, alongside successes tied to inclusive classroom efforts. The data is collected under Ontario’s Anti-Racism Data Standards and is used to identify barriers, including systemic racism, and improve programming and resources.
The board says all responses are confidential and will help guide future decisions focused on equitable student success.
