Freeze-thaw conditions are impacting local roads
Drivers are being urged to use caution as freeze-thaw conditions create hazardous roads across town.
The Town of Huntsville advises that fluctuating temperatures are causing melting snow, slush, rutting and potholes, all impacting travel. Crews are out clearing roadways, grading problem areas and working to open drainage around frozen culverts.
Officials are reminding residents to slow down and stay alert as winter weather continues to affect local streets.
