According to police firearm and drug charges were laid
Bracebridge OPP have charged two Gravenhurst women following a detailed investigation into a shooting on Bethune Drive South.
Police were called to the home on February 9th after a woman suffered a gunshot wound. She was taken to hospital and later transferred to Toronto with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Police recovered a firearm at the scene.
38-year-old Chantelle Conway-Penrose faces several firearms and drug trafficking charges. 31-year-old Angela Morgan faces multiple firearms offences, including transferring a prohibited weapon without authority and carrying a concealed weapon.
Morgan has a bail hearing today in Bracebridge.
